Curiosity Chocolate Hazelnut Bar
A classic combination of chocolate, finely ground hazelnuts and hazelnut pieces in bar form.
Made using locally grown hazelnuts from Happy Wombat farm near Tumut,
This bar is rich, smooth and deeply satisfying without being overly sweet.
The story of chocolates and hazelnuts (Gianduja), goes back to 1806 in Turin, then under French control that prevented British ships with goods including cocoa beans, from entering the ports. A chocolatier in Turin named Michel Prochet extended the little chocolate he had by mixing it with local hazelnuts, a combination that has never gone out of fashion.
